I’ve personally declared 2018 as a special year for myself. I don’t want to put such pressure on myself because the more I stress out about the goals I have set the more I will not pursue them. 🙂 I like to sabotage myself!
- For starters, I am turning 25 this year! *eeep* I am not where I want to be when it comes to job (and how much I am making) but I have things I want to do for myself on my spare time! (This one is kind of about self care)
- I want to learn how to photoshop and edit videos and images with Adobe Premier
- Which brings me to 2 other physical purchases I need/want to make: an external hard-drive and a new desk with usable storage!
- And for now, my final goal is to shed some lbs.!! I am a tall girl with about 40+ extra pounds. I’ve lost about 15 pounds since I’ve started my current job which I think allows me to “intermittent fast” without thinking about it. Other than that, I haven’t made any real changes to a healthier me and I really do need to try. There is a history of diabetes that runs in my family and I don’t want to deal with that. 😦
Overall, I am optimistic. There are some fun things happening this year: a family reunion, a friend is getting married, most of my closest friends are turning 25 with me! I want to have fun and create a balance between work, relationships, and personal self growth! If I actually keep up with this blog, I’m going to feel even better about this year!!
